
I found a spider. She didn’t look like she was long dead. Her legs were flexible. It was like she had fallen suddenly out of another season and hurled into the shallow pile of snow on the sidewalk in front of a construction site.

Spider, seed, stem, snow.

Some dried out hydrangea got caught in the fence.

I moved the spider close to the fence out of the way of foot traffic, and left a boot print nearby.
Everything is temporary seeking renewal.
